A. Snatch – find 1 RM, then 5×2 @ 75% every minute on the minute
B. For time: 21-15-9 Russian KB swings, pullups. KB swings should be heavy, as we’re not going overhead.
We were talking in the noon class today about junk food, and thought I’d post this link to a recent NY Times article detailing just how much effort “food” (I use that term lightly) companies put into making junk food appealing to consumers. At the end of the day though, you, and you alone are responsible for what goes in your mouth.
A. 55# for my 1RM, then 40# @ 75%. Not gonna lie…was tough today. This movement is hard for moi!
B. 4:30, KB 35#. Man, those ring rows (scaled from pull-ups) lots of breaks…I will, someday, do more than 10 in a row!
A) I revisited my very old PR of 105# that I haven’t been able to reproduce in a year and a half. This time, I am sure, it was much, much prettier than last time.
5×2 at 80# – that second rep was a real challenge.
B) 55# KB and pull-ups. 5:24
Likely could have gone a bit heavier with the KBS, but not with the pull-ups. I’m heavy enough, thanks.
too funny hillary – really did laugh out loud!!
A. Finally broke through my ancient PR of 95 and got 97.5#. Kinda ugly but I’ll take it. Thanks for push (again) Colin!
5 x 2 x 75. Not bad until the final rep.
B. 4:59 using 60# KB and challenging ring rows. KBS weren’t bad, it was the ring rows that were tough.
