For as long as possible:
From 0:00-3:00
2 rounds of:
10 overhead squats, 95 / 65 lb.
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 3:00-6:00
2 rounds of:
12 overhead squats, 95 / 65 lb.
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 6:00-9:00
2 rounds of:
14 overhead squats, 95 / 65 lb.
14 chest-to-bar pull-ups
Etc., following same pattern
If you ARE competing, please come for 9 am.
If you are NOT competing, please come by at 10 am, or come early to judge and/or cheer on the competitors. We will do a scaled (if necessary) version of 14.2.

Also huge congrats to everyone who got an OHS PR or their first C2B, that is what makes the Open so exciting!!
14.2 has come and gone for many. People came in with all sorts of expectations this morning…some missed their goal, others hit it bang on, and a number of people surprised themselves. Thank you to everyone who took it upon themselves to be a little fearless in the face of the challenge while being smart about their movement and positioning.
As I sat in the gym after everyone left today I am reminded of how new you all are to this sport/exercise program(people in the Opens and the ones who faithfully come to class). The improvements I see are staggering…people squatting to depth, driving knees out, holding weight above their heads that a few short months ago would have been impossible to consider. You all continue to get stronger, and you do make the jobs of the coaches much easier by listening and adopting what we share with.
Time to get ready for 14.3, who knows what it will bring but it is one more challenge we shall face together, cheering each other on, and celebrating in each others successes.
