This one is loosely inspired by one of the CF Games Regionals events.
A. Work up to a heavy 3 in the overhead squat.
B. 30 burpee pullups for time. If you don’t have pullups, we will modify, likely to jumping pullups.

A. Got up to 105#, tied with my last effort but I did it twice to make sure I got enough depth. Happy enough because I’m still a little wrecked from Saturday, both shoulder mobility and very sore abs. Props to Hillary who got to 142.5 I think. Woot!
B. 5:07 or something with jumping pullups on a 12″ box. Abs were sore throughout.
C. Sorry to Jay for inspiring him to whine, thereby spilling his supper on the gym floor.
A) 147.5#, a 2.5# PR, should have gone for 150# but ran out of time.
B) 4:57 I think, Rx. A tough one on pacing. I likely could have gone a bit faster. The most intimidating part was jumping for the bar.
Awesome work Agatha and Esther! It was great to work out with you. Tomorrow Melanie is filling in for me for the noon class.
YES!! i agree, it was fun Hillary and Agatha!! I gotta tell ya Hillary, you doing that workout Rxd is so inspiring!!! someday i’ll do a WOD Rxd too.
Yes, as usual I will be providing the comic relief! Hillary, I’m not sure if I can live up to your brains, beauty and sheer muscle, (you have it all) but I will give it my best : )
A) 175# for 2. Need to be consistent in practicing this movement.
B) Colin talked me into doing G.I. Jane, 100 burpee muscle ups…got to 30 in 2:19 finshed the 100 in 7:54 which is a 2:25 PR for me.
Then ate the last half of my salad…karma gave me an important reminder…don’t whine at the gym.
A. OHS 177.5# for 2 reps. My last successful set of 3 was at 165. I jumped to 180 and tried at least 4 times to get it, but I just wasn’t getting it overhead. I dropped back to 177.5, but only managed 2 reps, as I think I was fatigued at that point. This was a 2.5# PR.
B. “G.I. Jane” with Jay – 100 burpee pullups (not muscle-ups!) – 7:19, which is a 52 second PR. I think I paced this one better than I did a year ago.
A. 85#, up 25 from the last time is did it (back in April).
B. 3:19, after looking at everyone else’s time i’m starting to think i miss counted. Did one burpee and 2 jumping pull ups, used a box and since jay pointed out that i was to short, had to add a 10# plate for that little extra height. 🙂
Or… you just have fast burpees.
