A. Clean practice – 5×2 @ 60%. Focus on speed under the bar, full hip extension, and fast elbow turnover.
B. Find your 1 rep max front squat.
C. Run one mile for time. (1 mile is to the first driveway on the right on Park Road (turn right at the stop sign) and back.)
**Note: 6 am classes this week are on Wednesday and Friday because of our schedule changes. They will be Mon/Wed from here on in.
A: completed at 55# these felt ok I can always focus on being faster.
B: with some encouragement from the noon class I reached my old PR of 140# which was a lot more than I thought I was going to be able to do. I still have to work on my technique but overall it was not bad.
C: 11:40 despite me thinking I was going to die as I have not run this year I survived! Last summer we did this (aug 20) and my time was 10:01
Way to go Janelle! 🙂

A. Done at 85. Definitely some changes with the weightlifting shoes.
B. 175, 10# short of my old PR. Kinda disappointing but I’ve made so many changes lately not sure where to look for the answer. Squatting has not been good.
C. 9:13. Not bad for first run of the year. Last August was 9:01. Have never yet managed sub-9, so looking forward to that this summer.
