A. Snatch balance – 5×2, heaviest possible.
B. Row 500 m, then 4 rounds of:
15 pullups
15 pushups, then:
500 m row
C. 2 x ME pinch grip plate carry (25 lb plates for men, 10 for women). Weight-wise, it would make more sense if the women’s weight was 15 lbs, but unfortunately I don’t have any 15 lb plates. Your score is the number of gym lengths in each effort.

A. 45# I had a few failed attempts, but i kept working!
B.14:30 My arms are still feeling this workout – and that’s how i like it!! I was definitely spent, ring rows and pushups were broken up bad!!
C.15+9 This was fun!!
Thanks Colin, for making us work hard, today was great!!
I really enjoyed this workout, too. My ring rows and push ups were terrible and broken up because my arms were super tired. Loved the pinch grips…my thumbs and forearms didn’t hurt as much as I thought they would later.
A. My last good set of 2 was at 135, but I got a couple of singles at 145.
B. Hillary and I did this one with ring pushups instead of regular pushups. My time was 11:20, and Hillary finished at 15:54.
I feel like I haven’t done any higher volume pushups in a while, so this was a good refresher. I’ve been working on weighted pullups/negatives, and some assisted one-arm negatives.
C. I was briefly chatting during this one and lost count on my first set. The second one was pretty short, at less than 3 laps.
A) 115# though I got a PR of 120# for one set. Tried 125# but it felt bad enough that I’m not going to count it. I didn’t bail but it was more a push press followed by an overhead squat..
B) 15:54. Did 10 ring push ups instead of 15 push ups from the floor. Really happy I got all the pull-ups without ripping my hands since in the past, by about rep 45 they were toast.
C) 3 1/4 and 3 1/2 gym lengths with the 25# plates
