CF Games Open workout 13.2 has been released. It looks tough, but at least more manageable than 13.1. Earl will be doing the workout Thursday evening, likely between 6 and 7 pm. If you are around, come and cheer him on! I’m not quite sure when Hillary and I will do the workout — either Friday night or Saturday morning. I’ll post a note when we figure it out.

I think this Open workout is pretty accessible, so let’s do it!
A. Max Turkish get-up (KB or DB)
B. 10 min AMRAP of:
5 barbell shoulder to overhead (options include press, push press, push/split jerk — push press will likely be the most efficient)
10 deadlifts with the same barbell
15 box jumps (these can be step-ups, or if you’re tired of box jumps from Tuesday, I’ll accept KB swings)
A few people have asked about the skipping rope individual totals. I’m still waiting to hear back from RX Smart Gear, as I’ve e-mailed them twice now, and will likely call tomorrow. I’ll let you know when I have an official total.
Looks kind of fun in a twisted way.
I created a custom leaderboard on the CF Games Open site for CrossFit Steinbach, if anyone is interested. http://games.crossfit.com/lboards/result?id=31677.
Today was my rest day, but I still gave the Turkish getup a shot. PR at 85#, and it involved some duct tape, as all good things do.
A) Tied Colin on the TGU @ 85#. A PR for me also
B) 7 + 23 RX’d fun WOD.
A. 60# TGU – PR! Very pleased as I also PR’d last time we tested this. Thanks for the extra help with positioning Jay and Colin.
B. 168 Rx’d. Also happy with this result as I thought my 20″ box jumps would be much slower. Thrilled with all the progress I’ve made in the past few months! Thanks CrossFit Steinbach!
