A. Back squat – Find your 10 rep max. We last did this on Aug 7 2018. By the numbers, a 10-rep max should be about 75% of your 1 rep max, but that can vary widely by the individual. Some people are better at low reps for heavy loads, and others can move fairly high percentages for a lot of reps. Use your experience with the sets of 8 in the last couple of weeks as a guide, and set a goal. You’re probably not going to be able to do more than one set close to your max in this rep range, so choose wisely. Warm up with sets of 5, and do some reps at your goal weight before hitting your 10 reps.
Please use spotters, the spotter arms, or bail responsibly if needed. If you’re planning on bailing, do NOT ask spotters to be there. It’s one or the other. Let’s keep everyone’s toes safe.
B. Run 1 mile for time.
